Just finished a 100% brand-new Star Dragon build. The goal was a practical and sporty 20” setup with reliable components and a comfortable riding position.

The Louis Garneau MV5-FS is a unique 20-inch mini-velo full-suspension mountain bike, featuring an aluminum frame, dual suspension, and Shimano components

Just finished building this.

Built around a Cr-Mo 4130 steel frame with a silver wheelset (Koozer M455 hubs, Blacksnow rims, and silver spokes) to complement the copper finish. The drivetrain uses a SRAM GX 10-speed setup paired with an 11-36T Shimano cassette and a 48T crankset, giving it a good balance between cruising speed and climbing ability.

For comfort and daily usability, it runs Continental Contact Urban 20x2.0 tires, Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, a Veloci VLCmade Drink Up V.2 handlebar, ergonomic Specialized-style grips, a comfortable saddle, and a double kickstand.

The Candy Copper Metallic paint looks completely different depending on the lighting—ranging from a deep bronze tone indoors to a bright copper glow under the sun.
