I’d like to start of by saying I have many hours logged in payday 3. My infamy is over 1000 and I still deeply enjoy the game.
I also am really excited for the future of payday 3 and even how far it’s come. I’ve defended payday 3 since the start but I will agree now that maybe if they baked the game for another year or two. I think the game could have looked much more like this at launch.
To get to the title of this post however I want to bring up the fact that I have not unlocked an achievement in PD3 since April of 2024 and the rest of my achievements I unlocked within a month of the game releasing. I do love getting 100% in games so I do see that not everybody is going to care about this.
But I really think we should be getting 2-4 achievements with every heist. And why did we stop doing secrets.
The hardest achievement in payday 3 I would say is “True Connoisseur” and this achievement was really thrilling to get and really felt like a heisting movie, and yet nothing else like this exists in the game. I’m really excited to attempt it again with my friends just starting the game. But I don’t see why more heists can’t have a big EE secret.
I think not only would you get more people playing the game again, but you would have more social presence as lots of videos on payday 3 guides will start popping up again.
I know a fair argument is that this is not the most important thing right now. But it’s tuff being a veteran player right now so 80% of every update is directed at new players not the people that have played all along.
