Finally Appt with “good “ Neurology clinic
It has only taken a year and 1/2 but I finally got an appt with the top Neurology clinic in my area. I had to play some games like pretend I had a new primary care doc in their system .. did that and got the referral. My previous neurologist was terrible confirmed by my foot doctor who wanted me to go to this other clinic.
Appt is in a month. I have been through nerve testing, all the blood work, not diabetic ect. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet one worse than the other. Non specific cause. Did not respond to most meds other than baclofen. Wondering what other testing others have done any new cutting edge treatments and tests. I am seeing a resident so maybe they will spend more than 10 min with me? My appt says an hour.
Maybe there will continue to be no answers and no options. Things are not getting better over time just worse. To add a double whammy I have more arthritis in my feet as well.
How should I go into this appt? What more should I ask for? What testing am I missing.
