The floor is open.

One question I've seen floating around lately is- how do I start a career in NDT? (Though I'm not sure anyone actually asks that question for real!)

The answer: 90% of people who are in NDT didn't end up in it on purpose. And they all have varying stories. I didn't know what it was until I was in a classroom half way across the country paying for it.

If you actually want to get into NDT, there is no one way. But I have a few ways to help.

I know a guy who started an apprenticeship program for welding and inspection- reach out and we'll get you the application information.

The best in my opinion is through CMT at a Geotech/engineering company. If you want details just ask and I'll lay it out for you.
