Besides Deku's quirk awakening and Shinso, the Joint Training arc doesn't play a big part plot wise. So I thought, if the Joint Training happened before the Sports Festival, I think both arcs would be more appealing, because getting to know Classes B and A at the beginning of the show would make all the characters intriguing for the whole story, and we would also pay more attention to Class B in the Sports Festival. Of course there are aspects that collide, like Shinso's quirk mystery not being a thing, the disparity of combat from s2 class A and s5 Class A, etc, but this is my idea.
