Me and my sister kept missing exhibitions we wanted to see. So we built a free app for London's cultural scene (before AI - it took 4 years!)
We created Exhibits - listing 100+ exhibitions a week happening in London. Not just art galleries - science, history, nature museums, quirky collections, everything we could find...which is 450+ venues!
With everything seemingly focused on (contemporary) art these days, it felt like all the other incredible exhibitions were getting overlooked. We wanted one place to discover it all...
Oh, we also made a YouTube series called 'Exhibits Explorers' where we dress up as vintage explorers and visit the cool places on our app and learn their cool facts. So far we've been to the Old Operating Theatre museum (victorian surgery in London Bridge), British Optical Association Museum (oldest optometry museum in the world near Trafalgar Square), plus many more.
We've been going for just over a year, so still early days! I hope this is the right place to share, it's free and always will be.
Let me know what you think!
