Anyone else have an issue with this parking lot near Hughson & Main in downtown Hamilton?

I paid $18 on credit card for two hours of parking and when I returned, saw a parking ticket for $98 on my windshield! I had inadvertently drove into a reserved spot which I didn’t notice. The stencil was worn on the concrete and the outline of the spot was a dull red instead of yellow like 99% of the rest of the lot. (My eyes aren’t what they used to be now that I’m a senior.)

The guy who answered the phone when I called said he could negotiate a “reduction” from $98 to $81.
