Pilot and flight attendant gifts?

I have an upcoming flight from YYC to CUN and wanted to bring some small thank you gifts for the crew. I usually bring candy or chocolates, but I’m wondering if there’s something flight attendants and pilots appreciate more? Maybe Starbucks gift cards or other types of snacks? Something I’m not thinking of?

Also curious how many flight attendants/pilots are typically on a flight like this so I know how many gifts to bring. Flying in a 737 MAX 8.

Edit: Reading through the comments, I can understand why people have mixed feelings on this. I fully recognize that pilots are highly trained professionals who are well compensated for what they do, and I also understand that flight attendants are there primarily for passenger safety.

My intention was never to demean anyone or make it seem like I think they need handouts. Honestly, their jobs are something I personally would never want to do, especially dealing with the public every day, difficult passengers, delays, stress, etc. I was simply looking for a small way to show kindness and appreciation to people whose work often goes unnoticed unless something goes wrong.

Sometimes it’s not deeper than simply wanting to be a kind person and maybe make someone’s day a little brighter. At the end of the day, there are far worse things in the world than trying to do something thoughtful for another person with no expectations attached.

I appreciate everyone’s perspectives, even if we don’t all agree on it. Thanks everyone.
