Hello everyone, I recently bought a brokerage company that’s been active for 2 years with no claims/issues. I’m trying to get my BMC-84 surety bond set up, but most companies are asking for $20k–$30k collateral upfront, which is pretty tough for a newer operation.

Does anyone have recommendations for reputable bond companies or agents that work with newer brokerages and don’t require huge collateral amounts upfront? Any advice or personal experiences would really help. Thanks in advance.
