I built the best 2.5 Gen possible.
Got rid of my troubled 22 platinum for a 2020 platinum to build the truck I wanted my 22’ to be. I found a 2.5 gen fully dealer serviced at regular intervals. Started with a used 40k mile 2020 platinum, I wanted the smoothest riding truck possible with longevity in mind. Truck and all mods ran me about 60k. Truck was 45k out the door. To say it rides good is an understatement. I have had plenty of trucks, stock and modded, but this is on another level. How many of these would Toyota sell if they brought it back?

The dealership software upgrade really helped the wireless CarPlay connect really good and reliably. I think upgrading the speakers would be a nice touch. I am also considering an trans cooler, however this most likely won’t be used to tow often.
I still own the 2002 Land Cruiser I was driven to little league by my parents in, I hope I can hand this off to my son one day.
