2025 Oil Change
Hello!
I have a 2025 Tundra SR5 4x4 with 8400 miles. I am about to go on a round trip that is 1500 miles. Should I get the oil changed before? Or just wait for 10k miles and go to the dealership for Toyota Care to cover?
Hello!

I have an 06 tundra dc sr5. I’m having and issue with a vibration. Can be felt in the front end and the whole chasis when it gets going. New u joints and carrier bearing new tires road force balanced new lower ball joints sway bar links and tie rods. Still the same vibration. It’s most noticeable around 1700rpm 65-70mph. Can’t feel any play in the wheel bearings. Brake pedal is mushy and it seems as if the pressure changes from time to time. Could this be a warped rotor or failing caliper causing these vibrations? Any help is appreciated. I also have noticed when doing highway speeds letting off the gas the truck doesn’t exactly coast feels like there is some drag that slows the truck down.
Has anyone installed this on their tundra? I have a 2015 tundra Crewmax sr5 RWD. I was recommended from a fellow user to help with adjusting the bigger tire sizes. Since I’m in Cali it was a little harder to get but it finally arrived. Wondering if there is anything I should be aware of before installing ? Of course I’ve already updated the device on the computer
In search of a solid set of sidesteps for my 25 Limited Crewmax! If yall could post some photos and what steps your rocking it would be much appreciated!
Just bought a 2006 tundra double cab and it came with one of these side step bar covers missing, wondering if anyone knows where I can find a matching replacement without replacing all.
2021 Tundra CM. Kept the stock TSS wheels, went from 31.9" to 33.9" Nitto Recon Grapplers, Bilstein 5100s front and back, 3" Superlift Kit. Added a Rough Country Speedo Calibrator. 107k miles, bought new in February 2021. Keeping it as long as I can.
I’m thinking of buying this 2000 tundra, it has had the frame replaced from the recall and is solid there, but the only problem area is the driver side inner rock pictured. I’m wondering how bad you all think this is and what you think the cost to fix it at a mechanic would be. I’m thinking I could cut out the affected area and weld in some sheet metal but I’m far from an experienced welder. Maybe I should just walk away? Does anyone have experience with getting aftermarket panels or doing this type of welding work?
I’ve been looking at a 2018 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 4x4 1794 Edition with 118k miles listed for $31k. The truck itself looks fantastic inside and out, and it has regular maintenance records throughout its life.
The only thing that concerns me is the CarFax showing a head gasket replacement done by a Toyota dealership at only 15k miles. After that, there don’t seem to be any major issues reported, and the previous owner continued servicing it regularly before trading it in this year.
From what I understand, the 5.7 Tundras are generally very reliable long term, but a major repair that early makes me hesitant.
Would you guys still consider this truck worth buying, or is the early head gasket repair enough reason to walk away?
I'm moving from USA to Canada in a year or two, so not the best idea for me to buy a truck, but I just miss my old one sooo bad. Seems like a sweet project.
“2012 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4, 5.7 V-8, Power Windows, Power Locks, Cold A/C, Frame and Under side is clean. No Check Engine Light, Clean Title in my name.”
They’re asking 10,500 it has 190k miles
40 days ago this was our rough road trip plan,
Today after towing 5000 miles, we're making a family stop in Illinois before completing the loop. Such an incredible journey full of memories. This time of the year we were able do it without any planning, making reservations just 2 or 3 days ahead. Here are all the places where we have camped.
I have navigated this subreddit along with a few others in search of whether or not a 3rd gen Tundra can take 35’s stock. First off, I want to start by saying my local off road shop said Nitto, BFG, and Falken all have different sizes for the same size tire. He explained it is the same as trying on shoes, a Nike 10 is not the same as a Hoka 10. We all know this.
He said BFG run small, Nitto runs true to size, and Fallen run large or sometimes true to size. He said these NITTO RECON GRAPPLERS 285/65/R20’s are not even advertised as 35’s but they are larger than the BFG KO3’s 35’s that claim to be 35’s.
Anyways this is a 2025 1794 Hybrid with the TRD OR package. Nothing else, factory wheels, no spacers, no lifts, nothing. Fit like a glove and DO NOT RUB. Enjoy boys!
NOTE: the last photo is the stock Falken Wildpeaks that came on the TRD OR package. Roughly 31.5’s
Just cleaned the Unicorn and think I’m gonna help my bro clean his 14’ Extended Cab
I don’t know if I should go through with it. If I do which one should I go for. Sorry for this!
Owner didn’t provide much photos but I’m still curious would you guys check it out if you were me. p.s how would yall fix the seat
New to the tundra community as of about a month ago. I’ve wanted one for a couple of years now and finally found a good deal on a 2-owner 2010 with all the service records, etc.
However, one thing I didn’t anticipate is the (seeming) lack of bed cover options. I’ve been on FB marketplace for weeks and have only seen 4-5 covers that would work on my truck, and all of those were old/damaged. I know the F-150 and Silverado are more common, but is the 6.5’ Tundra really that much of a red-headed stepchild?
Are the 6.5’ beds on the 2014-2021 facelifted trucks the same dimensions as the 07-13s? Will covers off similar length Silverados or F-Series tucks work?
If you have a bed cover you love on your 6.5’, please let me know what you went with so I can try to source one!
