Frame condition

hello again, looking at another frame on an 04 tundra im looking at. only 121k miles and frame was replaced in 2023 and lower ball joints were also done recently. seller is asking 9600 (i want to talk him down to 8something ideally). this video was sent by the seller and it looks good other than a spot at 1:42 that im not sure if i should be concerned about. thanks!!

edit: located in northeast us/upstate ny

edit 2: was chatting with the seller and he said 4x4 doesn’t engage/check engine light is on/sunroof doesn’t work and there’s an exhaust manifold leak so i am probably passing on it :/

collected editions

i was really into this comic for the first few issues when i was in college and then covid happened so it kind of dropped off my radar and i moved out of my parents a few years ago and i think all my comics are still there

how many issues of siktc are there now and is there a way to buy them in a set together instead of individually? i thought i remembered hearing about a hardcover collection a few years back

how many miles is too many miles?

i understand that this is an extremely open ended question that is dependent on many factors

but assuming it’s been well maintained, little to no frame rust or replaced frame, regular oil changes etc, how many miles is too many for a used 1st gen tundra

not super knowledgeable about trucks but my gut is telling me around 220-230k for a low enough price sounds reasonable?

what is considered the worst years for tacomas?

been looking for a new vehicle and have been looking at toyota trucks. ive read that 2010-2015 is the sweet spot for tacomas but are there any years that i should try to avoid? found a blog post that said 06, 09 and a few other years were more prone to have issues but not sure if i should take it as gospel. figured i would come here to get some input. thanks!

is this too much rust

hello i am making another one of these posts. test drove an 06 tundra ac with 186k on it. upstate ny so rust on frame but i knocked on it in a few spots with the butt of my knife and it felt solid. only issues mentioned were windshield crack and something with a rear solenoid but the seller said he could fix those. seller asking $7800.

shotgun capacity

the laws here say that any semiauto shotgun with a capacity of 7+ rds is considered an AW. if a shotgun is pump action can it have a higher capacity than 7 without being considered an AW?

is this too much rust?

looked at an 06 v8 with roughly 150k miles on it. shop selling it for just under 10k. wanted to inspect the frame in person and there was a decent amount of rust on it. we’re in ny so some is to be expected but i want to know if this is a good deal or not.

is this a good deal?

test drove a 2002 tundra v8 today and looking to get some advice. priced at $6.9k, 182k miles. in decent condition other than non-functioning ac. it’s in upstate ny so there’s a little bit of rust on the frame from road salt but it seemed to be in good condition. ive read that ball joints can be a problem on older toyotas but the guy i talked to said they were in good condition.

is this a good deal? im interested but the ac has me concerned and idk how much it’ll cost to get that up and running. a few pics attached.
