So on Monday I bought a 2014 Silverado from a local used car dealership. On test drive noticed a weirdness with shifting, but bought the truck either way because it was the most clean 14 I’ve ever seen and it was everything I’ve been wanting. Few days in I could tell it’s actually slipping pretty good. Took it back to them yesterday let them feel what it was doing and they agreed it’s bad. They actually had a brand new from factory 6l80 still in the crate with tags. They’re putting it in for me this Monday and charging me only $500 for it. With that being said there should a be a factory warranty of some sort with that right? And does anyone know what that would be? I’ll also be installing the superior solutions on it as soon as I get the truck back. Any other tips of making it last longer are appreciated. Really is a blessing for it to be bad when I bought it so it can go ahead and have a new one!
