For background information, the main consultation hall in MSB (theology library) has long not required KURT to reserve a study seat. Earlier this year KURT QR codes were stuck to the tables, but I saw no one using them; people went on as usual, simply taking a seat and going about their business. Today I saw a flyer saying that starting on may 2nd KURT will be used.
Something tells me people will still neglect it like before, but who knows. My question is, if MSB has been able to function fine without KURT then what's the point of integrating it? I understand KURT may be of some value to those who value schedule, but personally I find the idea of scheduling your studying hours pointless. Hardly anyone is able to exactly estimate how long they need, while the system wrongly assumes most are capable of this. it's why you have people who schedule for unnecessarily long hours that'll prevent you from reserving, not because they're insensible, but because the system simply has unreasonable demands.
I doubt that there wouldn't be any study places available without KURT. I'm interested in hearing other views on KURT.
