My Idea's for The Super Mario Bros. Movie 3
With the release and success of the Super Mario Galaxy movie, it would make sense for Nintendo to make a third movie following Galaxy. The question is: what would the movie be titled?
I have Four ideas in mind that could fit the third movie:
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Wonder
Super Mario 3D World
Personally, I feel like Super Mario Wonder would be the best choice. The game itself includes Daisy as a major character, and with the recent post-credit scene in Galaxy, it would make sense for Daisy to play a major role in the next movie.
That being said, who would be the main villain?
Many people, including myself, want to see Wario and Waluigi, while others want to see the Koopalings. What if the movie included both?
For the Koopalings, here’s how I think their story should play out:
In the third movie, the Koopalings break into the jail where Bowser and Bowser Jr. are being held and free them. After they escape, Bowser asks who they are. Jr. tells his dad that these are friends he made while attending boarding school.
Ludwig then introduces himself to Bowser and introduces his siblings as well. He explains that they are loyal to both Bowser and Jr. and are ready to serve them however they can.
Ludwig then tells Bowser about a mysterious power called the Wonder Flower and explains the strange and powerful abilities it has.
Bowser immediately becomes interested in the idea and decides he wants to use the Wonder Flower to finally take over the Mushroom Kingdom.
As for Wario and Waluigi, I imagine they saw the Mario Brothers on TV after the events of the first movie and became jealous of how famous they had become. Because of this, Wario and Waluigi dress up as Mario and Luigi and begin causing chaos around town while pretending to be them.
When Mario and Luigi return home, the townspeople believe they are responsible for the destruction. They are arrested and sent to jail, similar to the plot of Super Mario Sunshine.
Meanwhile, Peach begins investigating the situation with the help of Pennington from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door in order to prove Mario and Luigi are innocent.
As for Daisy, I have an idea where the Wonder Flower is located somewhere within her kingdom, which would naturally bring her into the story and make her an important character in the movie.
