Just finished The Glory, first thing is I thought it was good, but I felt like it was a big cast with so many stories within a story, I'm not a massive fan of thrillers but I'd give it a solid 8/10.
The thing is I checked on reddit if anyone moaned about the FL being 40 the ML being only 26 so I checked to see if anyone posted anything on reddit and they hadn't, I've started to see a bit of hypocrisy when it comes to age differences with FL and ML I myself wasn't keen on the age difference in Goblin but it wasn't there real live age difference i just think if the FL had been in college and they hadn't concentrated so much while she was in high school age I could of got all mushy and rooted for them to be together. But I have defended 2 other dramas fiercely where people even said it was the age differences were disgusting and ruined the whole drama them. The first was Mr Sunshine, but in was in her med 20s and he was early 30s! There age difference in real life was 19yrs but we all know Koreans age well so they don't look there age and play parts alot younger, even Kim Tae-ri played 18 when she was 32 in 2521.
The second drama was Eve, I really liked this drama when I watched it so I did a post and oh my god did I get hate. And there real life age difference is only 12yrs yet people where disgusted an outraged and said he ruined the drama, some even said he couldn't act and was wooden, I said it was just the part he was playing and if you look at his part in "Because This Is My First Life" he plays this really funny quirky character, I said if he was better looking then they wouldn't say a thing about his age.
To my point, this post isn't about enraging anyone or to start a argument! If anything i was people to see it and think twice before getting to outraged while watching other dramas and try not to judge so quickly.
Lastly if you don't agree with me or other comments (if there's any) please be respectful i've had many discussions with people i don't agree with but there's never a reason to be rude.
