Could someone tell me if this is a glitch?
I’m playing in career mode and usually follow the Kerbin World-Firsts Record-Keeping Society contracts for progression. So far I’ve only explored the Mun and Minmus, but now I’ve been given a contract to do a flyby of Dres.
It feels like the game skipped a bunch of contracts in between. I thought the next steps after Minmus were Duna and Ike, not Dres.
Also, isn’t Dres way harder than Duna? Duna feels like the natural next step with its atmosphere and relatively straightforward transfer window, while Dres seems way more unforgiving in terms of transfer timing and encounter difficulty. Getting sent to Dres this early feels like a huge jump.
Is this normal or did something bug out?
Edit: I think I may have been assigned a Dres mission right after Minmus because I have Proxima’s Better Dres mod installed. From the replies I’ve gotten, it seems like after Minmus you usually get Eve missions, not Duna or Dres.
