Hi everyone. First of all, I really don't want to sound ungrateful, I know it's still a good score, but I'm rather disappointed with my writing result. I have a lot of undergraduate as well as postgraduate experience writing and analysing scientific articles - in English - and I believe I wrote clearly and concisely in both part 1 and 2. In fact, part 1 is something I used to do on a daily basis for many years.
The thing is, part 2's writing topic irked me, it was an incredibly generalised statement for which I needed to give an explanation for why it seems to be the case, as well as give possible solutions. I decided to take a scientific approach instead, and focused on why we should be careful of making blanket statements like that without taking as many variables into account as possible. In essence, my essay therefore focused mainly on how correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation.
While I was writing it I knew I should probably be playing it safe and just write about what they want, but I couldn't help myself haha... Do you guys believe a re-marking could be useful? I really want a 9 average.
