Hey everyone,

We design our own pillboxes using Fusion360, and then sell the 3D printed products on Etsy. We've been doing that for 8 months now. Today, our most popular listing was IP claimed and their only evidence was a makerworld link with the general overall look.

Ours is a completely different format and layout

The geometry is different

The logos and weekday labels are different

The only similarity is that they're both rectangles and both feature removable pods with 3 inner spacws for pills (theirs has 7 and ours has 8 with a functional friction lock to hold the 8th spare on the side)

I obviously filed a counter claim, but Etsy immediately replied saying that it's outside the US so they will not be actioning the counter claim as they can't.

It seems like my only option is to reach out to the person that filed this? I can't say it's going to go anywhere. In their 'warning' message to us, they accused us of review manipulation on a 'License holder'. Doing our own research we found a 5 year old store which has only been active for the past 3 weeks, selling your usual generic prints from 3d print sites. Though more interestingly they were selling the makerworld model we apparently copied.

The same day that the 'designer' sent his warning notice, they'd recieved a 1 star review claiming:

Bought twice and one never delivered

It went yellow in colour because it was left on a windowsill (means they printed it out of PLA)

I'm just wondering if we're going to be algorithmically suppressed over this, and if there is no other way to get the listing back up, apart from engaging with this man who clearly won't withdraw the claim

Thanks in advance!
