Yo, I have never played a dnd game or at least in its universe. I played wasteland 3 which is similar in gameplay but for the most part very new to it. I’ve played a lot a games and holy shit does this game tickle my pickle. Baldurs Gate 3 has been an unreal beacon of hope in this schlop filled era of gaming. KCD2 held my attention to a large degree but this game literally put my frontal lobe in a chokehold. This shit is gas.
I just finished the game with my halfing barbarian and the story, characters and lore were awesome to experience. Felt like I was playing Skyrim when that first came out. Overall 10/10 game, I immediately started a new campaign right after. I’m not into overly sexual games cause I felt at some points everyone in the game wanted to screw me after doing one good act hence the name Gooner Gate 3. But they did a good job handling overall.
My only real criticism is the pacing in Act 3 it felt kinda like the end game was rushing you to finish and going from the Act 2 pacing to that felt weird. But I digress.
That shit was unreal also Laezel is the best romance I’ll stand on that till I die. (I did two campaigns with Shadowheart romance as well it’s was very good but Laezel is mommy)
