I really want to potty train our 21 month old boy. We are scheduled to be admitted to a hospital for specialized tests due to feeding difficulties next month. Because the whole floor is dedicated to GI issues, i would like to minimize the risk of contracting GI viruses and opting against using the public toilet (we are based in Poland and most hospitals have problem with hospital acquired infections). Anyone has any advice on what’s the best thing to do here? I would prefer to let him use diapers for these few days but I am afraid it would destroy any progress we might have this month.
