Me (28M) met (23F) online about a year ago and we are finally going to meet in person! We’re in a type of situationship exclusive partnership and I wanted to get them something for their birthday because it’ll be a month after they visit me. The only thing is I want to keep it a surprise, but I also don’t want to get them something that their previous relationship/partnership/friendship got them. It’s something super cool! I wanted to get them an animal tracking necklace because their favorite animal is a shark. I’m just unsure how to figure out they don’t already have something like that. Any advice?
