Despite requesting a gluten-free meal over a week in advance for my flight from Montreal to Istanbul, I was shocked to find no meal available for my 9-hour journey. As a traveler with Celiac disease, this isn't a preference—it’s a medical necessity.

While the flight crew promised to rectify this for my return, the system failed again. I attempted to confirm my meal via phone with no success, finally resorting to what'sapp messager. By the time a WhatsApp agent responded, I was told I was 30 minutes past the 24-hour cutoff. To make matters worse, staff repeatedly suggested the error was my own, effectively gaslighting me despite my proactive efforts to follow their protocols. Two international flights (19 hours total) in the span of 5 days with zero medical meal accommodations is unacceptable for a global carrier.
