Hi! I'm an incoming freshman looking at math courses to take for Pratt. Just wondering how hard these courses are in comparison to 122? Any recommendations on what to take? (Undeclared but with an interest in Meche)
I'm an incoming freshman trying to apply to jobs for work study and i've noticed that many require references. obviously I don't have any teachers within Duke that can be a reference, and high school teachers aren't as accessible since I've already graduated. Anyone have any tips on who I could possibly ask?
Also, the job listings seem very competitive and some require quite a bit of experience that I don't have yet. Is the student employment the only place to look for jobs or are there other platforms that have jobs more friendly for freshmen? (ie. not TA/tutoring jobs which require you to have taken the class already). Also any platforms that have easy jobs where they can train you on the spot (ie. working in cafes) would be appreciated (:
