My little brother commissioned into the navy this past weekend and when doing so we have a coin ceremony. We searched for a special coin and found something amazing at a coin shop in Chicago. This Silver Eagle was recovered from Ground Zero after the Worl Trade Center attack. It still has the burn marks on it. I cant even explain how humbling it was for this to be the coin that initiated his carrier as a pilot and officer in the United States Navy. As a former enlisted sailor, I cant be more proud.
