My Second Proof Found on Circulation
Just got a 2006-S Dollar coin, found on my mom’s piggy bank this morning! It’s heavily circulated as I live in Ecuador ^w^

On Oct 1st last year a Semi decided I needed a hug and turned into me.
After a pole vaulting trophy and someone singing "Staying Alive" while I laid down for a while, followed by some wee woo, then some pokey, stitchy, blood stoppy and someone yelling "CLEAR", I got to whoop whoop 5 hours away to more pokey, stichey, blood stoppey with added nuts and bolts, I'm mobile-ish now.
I got my ride home. She's like me. Damaged but resurrect-able.
I need forks, suspension, radiator, handle bars, blinkers, headlight and bucket, controls. Maybe some other odds and ends.
Anyone have some good places to find what I need? I've been hunting around but some of the prices are obscene. Like, price of the whole bike or a new engine obscene. It doesn't need to be painted, I'm going to redo my original custom style. Bare metal is fine. Thanks for your help!
2004 Honda Shadow Sabre VT1100C2
Got $5 in cents from the bank. They were all wheaties with a few coppers. Broken down by years!
Anyone on the west coast getting them?
Watching Rob Finds Treasure
He found 20 full rolls, that's 815 with the privy mark quarters in 1 box. And the 2nd box he has is showing 18 enders with the mark.
Why did the Mint put these into circulation like this?
Whole boxes containing all those privy!
2 silver and 1 W in a six box hunt this weekend. Better than average. Quarters are tough.
So, instead of Half Dollars, I ordered four boxes of quarters this week hoping to find a July 4th privy mark!
I was told they had two boxes for me. When my dad went to get the boxes, two tellers who don't hunt, said they kept a box each 🤪 Hey, I'm happy I got a chance...
Alas, there was no July 4th privy mark 😔
I did find my first 2026 quarters though. A rash of about two rolls worth of Revolutionary War D's (I live in central Pennsylvania), and three Mayflower Compact quarters amongst the two boxes.
I also found a 1962 silver quarter! ⚡ What luck! 🍀💪🏻 Silver finds me 🤣
I also found two spitting horse r/errorquarters, one extends to the rim.
Finally, I pulled two 2009 quarters, Puerto Rico and Northern Mariana Island.
My plan for this upcoming coin order is to ask for two boxes of quarters and two boxes of Halves.
Let's see what happens! 👀
Here's to next week's results!!! 🙌🏻 Best of luck to all of you. I'm still looking for that July 4th privy mark and the Semiquincentennial Half with die clash. 🤞🏻
My favorite is the 1957 silver proof 🥹
went through 3 box of half dollars, 1 box of quarters, 1 box of dimes
found these colorzied halfs dollars I ahd never seen before, few pieces of silver (halfs, quarters, dimes) some gold plated coins (havles and a dime), 2 Proofs (1 nice, 1 ok), 1 W quarter with Privy, 2 BU uncirulated state quarters, 2 mayflower
Looking into getting these boxes from my bank, ideally I’d want dollars and half dollar boxes. But quick question what do you guys usually do after searching through all those coins? They’re obviously still money but do you re roll them and take them to a different bank? Or just keep them and pay for everything with them? How do you personally get them back to a more efficient way of payment IE back to your account or in bills? In an efficient way that isn’t just re rolling 100s of coins and re depositing
Hi all, I have been wanting to do this for a while and always forget. I used to do this with my dad in the 80's and 90's as a kid so there is also some nostalgia involved as well. I am going to start hitting banks on my way to work for rolls this week, I will probably start with rolls of quarters to ease me in. Because I have no idea what to look out for other than silvers, what is a good resource to list coins to look out for? Thanks!
Not much to speak of tonight. Put together $500 of quarters for the bank coin bag return. Keepers for the night's effort include, 20 Bicentennial Quarters (Happy 50th!), 1 Slug, 1 2017-S, 2 Spitting Horse - both 1999-P, and 10 Shit Monsters.
By the way, that is a 9x14x16 grid of quarters with $4 stripped off the top rows to make it an even $500.
By all means, comments please.
Went through a $500 box of quarters
Pulled out the Bicentennial and new 250 year quarters! (Plus oddities):
51 x Mayflower
44 x revolutionary war
18 x Bicentennial
1x silver
2x dimes
1x Canadian quarter
1x Panamanian quarter
Wanted a July 4th privy tho =/
Got a total of 8 walkers, 2 x 64 Kennedys, 2 x 40 percenters, and an 86 proof. Also had a double ender and a regular ender of walkers
I picked up a box yesterday. I was a little reluctant because my lat box was all 2025 P. I did a little better this time. With temps over 100 degrees F, it was a good day to sit inside and Crack open rolls. Three 40%, a proof, and a few NIFCs.
Found her in a customer wrapped roll. She's not just any dirty W, she's my dirty W.
Been collecting Lincoln Cent rolls for years now, never organized them...found these here. YouTube says, they got value...gonna see what the red book says...I cant even twist the tops off...be cool if I got something - what do you all think...
5 x 1969 -S
