three boxes of halves, 3/4 box of nickels , 1/2 box of dimes, and maybe 20 quarter rolls. got here on the last few rolls. Also found an odd looking half that just looks interesting and maybe 8 nice NIFC
wondering if I could clean some of the grime off the war nickel
Ii is a bronze color. I thought maybe it was plated but its weight is less then a normal half , 11.07 grams. There is maybe a small trace of silver color on the edge in one spot
I received my AZ on 6/2024 and this May the BVA sent an email requesting another document, my mother’s US alien registration card, which I do not have. I assume they requested that to establish she was not a US citizen when I was born in 1966. I was wondering if it is possible they would accept, as an alternative, my mother’s US certificate of naturalization from 2000. I also have a ships passenger list showing her entry to US in 1960.
My German mother was married to my non German father when I was born in 1966.

A copy of my mothers German passport from 1994
i wish I remember the Posters Name who suggested checking your spam folder for an email from BVA. I found an email from May but it was in my regular mail.
I had applied for my citizenship through the consulate in NYC. I received a email from the consulate in 6/2024 i forming me that the the BVA had my application and they ( the consulate) would let me know if the BVA need additional documentation.
For the past year I have only been looking for communication from the consulate , not directly from BVA so without seeing that post and searching BVA in my email I would likely never have found that email.
I feel kind of stupid but maybe I am not the only one this applies too and maybe this will help someone else
