How do you think you'd feel if Square Enix decided to replace Haley Joel Osment as the voice of Sora in the future?

I'll just say I would NOT be happy personally.

Am I odd for thinking that Yozora is simply a dark mirror universe version of Sora?

I legitimately think that Kingdom Hearts might be going in the multiverse direction, with Sora and Yozora's names both meaning Sky and the whole, "One Sky, One Destiny," thing. I know I'm not the only one who got some serious main-character vibes from this guy, like he has this whole history to him that we haven't seen yet. This guy is Sora if he was stuck in a reality where magic was much less common and he was forced to get a lot tougher if he wanted to survive.

If we take the Verum Rex trailer as canon, he had his own duo of friends who specialized in defense and, "Magic," and he had his own Kairi in the form of whoever the Nameless Star is, except in this reality he wasn't/hasn't yet been able to save her. Him being called Commander in the good ending to his boss fight also implies things, with him having to take on this much more militarized grounded role instead of Sora being this fantastical hero of light. All of this makes me think of him as being a version of Sora, but not in the same way that Roxas and Xion are. They aren't directly connected, more like the same heart if it was forced to grow up in very different circumstances.

As for why he looks similar to Riku, the Nameless Star makes mention of how the heart of the boy she knew has been replaced by another, and Yozora himself says that his appearance isn't how he normally looks, which is why he's surprised Sora was able to recognize him. I don't think it's too crazy to speculate that if he's a mirror universe version of Sora, then he had his own Riku too, and that the two of them could of at one point swapped bodies. If this is the case, then I very much believe that Yozora's true form is one that looks much more like Sora in appearance.
