I ported in an old business landline from AT&T to a Standalone Wearable line because it was the cheapest option to preserve the number associated with my business for future use as an employee line or office line on a cell phone. I also did it because I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 that I download music and audiobooks to for rides/hikes/runs so why not get some use in the meantime. When working through the setup, I had to reset my watch to use a separate Apple ID, which I now understand limits some data syncing across devices.

Can I convert my standalone wearable to a paired device, but still preserve that phone number? I don't care to use the phone number, but the cellular data would be nice to use.
