No contact actually helped me get over my ex

So my ex broke up with me about two months ago and I was devastated. The way she ended things absolutely tore me apart. She had major trauma from an abusive ex, and during a very vulnerable moment for me she broke up with me over text and blocked me on everything before I even had the chance to say goodbye. I know she moved on pretty much immediately after it happened too. Which hurt even more considering the bond I thought we had shared, and the relationship I had built with her daughter. This past weekend I’m not sure what happened, but I realized that I actually don’t want a relationship with someone who won’t stick around when things don’t go perfectly. I realized the amount of anxiety and stress I had during the relationship trying to keep her happy and show her how awesome she was. I don’t think any less of her now. I just recognize that at this moment in time she isn’t someone capable of a healthy relationship, taking ownership of her actions, and confronting her own feelings. I still truly wish her the best, but I’m done and I’m so glad she initiated no contact. Honestly it was probably one of the only truly kind things she ever did for me lol.
