Absolutely Drowning
Rant: Anyone else in an A Volume Frame Shop with their staff getting bare bones hours, and you're constantly doing damage control, and playing catch up to be on time?
The quality of our materials are lower, and it takes longer to do simple tasks because of it, plus there's no time to do anything well. Customers are starting to get pissed, and were just constantly doing re-dos on top of all of the other orders, or things get miscommunicated and then I end up spending my time doing things like on-the-spot wire hanging, or adding art info upon pick-up. Every shift I'm alone, over my head in production, and Customers. Today was especially a lot, there were so many dissatisfied Customers... but at least they weren't yelling. I'm pretty sure a guy tried to sus out our 10 min Framing Printer to steal it, I went to talk to him and he was aggressive... If he comes back maybe I should let him go for it because I'm not getting paid to be Security too. I really do like Framing, the people that I work with, and some Customers, but some extra staff support would go a looonnnggg way.
