What is this monumental brutalist building?

I've been trying to identify this building with no luck. It shows up in several fashion campaign videos/photos (El Corte Inglés, Mango, Massimo Dutti, RAINS), always shot from the inside, never naming the location. A Spanish location-scouting agency lists it in their catalog but won't disclose the name to non-professionals. Hoping someone here recognizes it.

I've found many pics in the web, but none gives a clue. From them, I've got some facts.

Raw board-formed concrete (visible wood-grain texture), rust staining bleeding down from the top of several walls/columns

Purely monumental / sculptural — no apparent practical function (similar in spirit to parts of the Igualada Cemetery by Miralles & Pinós, but larger)

At least two circular courtyards, 3+ storeys tall, very high ceilings

One courtyard has a ramp winding around its perimeter; the other has openings/viewpoints ("miradores") looking into it (see the pic with those big openings)

A folded-plate ("origami") concrete staircase, no railings, appears at least twice (pics)

A very large outdoor stepped area (like a monumental staircase or terraced amphitheater), plain concrete, no railings (pics)

Interior is walkable/open in most places; ground floor has unusually high ceilings

Roof over the courtyards appears to rest on piles, structurally separated from the walls (pics)

Looking for a movie, or more likely a TV movie, from more than 20 years ago, probably from the US or Canada.

It's a coming-of-age story set in a small town or suburb, with a girl as the main character, her brother, another girl who is the main character's friend, and maybe one more person. The tone is comedic but never over the top. The setting is completely ordinary, middle-class. Importantly, the girl also narrates many of the scenes.
The narrator's friend is very close to her at the start of the film, but drifts away because she prefers to spend time with a boyfriend (possibly — I don't quite remember — the narrator's brother).
One more detail I remember clearly: in the final scene, the narrator is shown together with her new best friend. There's no dialogue, just narration over the images. In that scene she tells us she's at a boarding school or something similar, where she's been sent. There's a close-up shot of the new best friend. This scene is essential to identifying the film — it's a must.
The narrator's lesbian orientation is very clear in the film, but it is NEVER made explicit — it's only suggested through her admiration for and exclusive closeness with her two best friends.
