Tapping sword scene in POTC

Hey, Guys! How are you doing?

I have been thinking of this very specific scene from The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise but I can't find which movie it's in (and I did try asking Gemini and it was no help at all).

So, the scene goes like this: there is a character pointing a sword and then character 2 (which I'm almost sure it's Jack Sparrow) starts getting close to the one pointing the sword by gliding his fingers and tapping the sword lightly, while saying something that is like a negotiation. I think about this scene often because I think it's very well acted and super fun, but I don't have access to Disney+ right now to rewatch all the movies🥲

Been looking for this movie for a while

Don’t remember how the movie started but this little boy and his (brought to life) teddy bear go on a journey to find a wish granting fairy at the bottom of the ocean. When they find her, his wish is to spend a day with his mom again. She was dead before. She cooks for him and tucks him into bed before the day is over I think. That’s all I remember. The boy might’ve been blonde if that helps

Did I dream this film?

I'm sure I went to the cinema a few years back to watch a foreign language film set in a Latin American city which bordered a large jungle along a highway or road. I'm sure the plot revolved around some sort of rainforest folklore or mythical jungle spirit creature.

I remember a scene where someone's on the street late at night, and under the light of the street lamps, they paused to look over the road, peering deep into the darkness of the dense jungle, perhaps imagining a silent skulking beast might be stalking them under cover of night.

I've been trying to remember more details, it's driving me wild! I'm beginning to think I just dreamed the whole thing.

I'm sure it was a subtitled film, which had a very very limited UK release, in approximately the last 10 years. I think it may have been a film festival winner.

Does anyone have any guesses?

Help with a dinosaur movie

I can’t remember the name of a movie about a boy discovering a dinosaur (a triceratops) in the modern time

Like the triceratops starts super tiny and grows massive at the end of the movie

I think it only ate candy

The boy keeps it existence a secret to his parents and a mysterious organization tries to capture it

The boy has 2 friends : a fat and a skinny one

There's also other dinosaurs(i remember a pack velociraptors) but when they eat candy they explode in marbles or candy I forgot

I think the triceratops needs to be fed a specific type of food to survive (like i think it was candy or a strange liquid present in all of the movie )

Also the secret organization sends velociraptors to capture the triceratops because I think it escaped from their Hideout

I watched that movie from a cd disc at a friend house

I asked him but he doesn't know the name of the movie either

Please help me 🙏🙏🙏

Please help me find a movie with doo-be-doo opening credits joke

Looking for an 80s (possibly late 70s) comedy. Opening scene may involve a car driving. A pop song (possibly Frank Sinatra’s Strangers in the Night) plays, and the lyrics appear on screen. The opening includes a joke along the lines of “In the immortal words of…” before revealing only the lyrics “doo-be-doo-be-doo” (or similar nonsense syllables). Saw it in a UK cinema in the 1980s.

what's the movie with a kind man with a weird green thing under his skin?

I'm looking for a movie (or could it have been a series?) with a scene that traumatized me when I was a child. I don't remember much, just that there is a scene that shows a man ripping part of his face off (or at least that's how I remember it) and he has a green weird thing covering all his face. It looked really disgusting, slimy? really textured. This happened maybe at the beggining of the 2010s or a little before that, so it must be an older movie. I don't even know if it was an horror movie/series, but that scene has remained in my mind for year.

Some of the information might be wrong, but the one thing I'm sure of is that it was a scene where his face was covered by something that looked terrible.

Movie 1970’s or 1980’s

Movie 1970’s or 1980’s in a small American town where the police think a man has murdered his wife so they engage the help on a amateur theater group in town at the time. A woman from the theater group turns up at the suspects house as says she is his wife. One of the group also pretends he is a priest and stabs the local butcher, I think his name is Sam, but it was all faked. At the end the suspect goes to where he killed his wife in a car half in a swamp saying your dead I killed you are dead and suddenly the woman sits up and takes off a wig as she is a police woman. As the murder as driven though the town by the police you can see all the actors who took part putting up signs the the building where they are going to open their show all looking at the murderer in the police car and Sam outside his butcher shop.

Movie/show scene i once saw where it shows Couple at an outdoor café/table, one leaves cigarette burn marks on the table, later the other person returns alone and rubs the same burn mark while reminiscing.

I'm looking for a movie based on a scene I saw in a TikTok edit a while ago. Here's what I remember:

-There are two people (I believe a man and a woman) sitting side by side at an outdoor table.

-I think the movie is European, or possibly Middle Eastern.

-The language definitely didn't sound like English.

-The setting looked like an outdoor café, restaurant, or bar. One of them is smoking. I don't think there was an ashtray, so they put the cigarette out directly on the wooden table, leaving a burn mark. I don't remember it being symbolic at the time—just something they did.

-Later in the scene (or after a time skip), the other person comes back alone to the same table. The camera cuts to a close-up of their finger slowly rubbing the same cigarette burn mark while they silently remember the other person.

-The scene was in color. The couple was sitting in a shaded.

I may be remembering some details incorrectly since I only saw the scene in a TikTok edit, but the close-up of the finger tracing the cigarette burn mark is the part I'm most confident about. Does this scene sound familiar to anyone?

Movie scene with dog food in dufflebag

I'm searching for this movie I watched years ago. I cant remember anything about it, idek if I made it up, but there's one scene very vivid in my mind.

The lead(maybe) goes to a bar looking for directions, he has a duffle bag of weapons. The patrons ask "Whats in the bag?" he says "Dog food" And they reply "I like dog food" after which he shoots up the bar.

A few minutes later, his pursuers show up also carrying a duffle bag. The patrons who barely survived respond something like, "He went that way, and we dont want your dog food"

I'm paraphrasing my jumbled memory, but I believe this is how it goes.

Trying to find a movie/show for a girl

My friend is telling me about this movie or show she has on the tip of her tongue that she keeps thinking about, but I don't really know any movies nor could I think of this hyper specific film shes describing.

She describes a movie/show where someone had the ability to go through walls but it was only one person and they would have to shield others and cheat the system.

Sorry if this is too vague, but if someone could help me out with calling out random films that'd be awesome!

Movie identification help – opening scene: girl running in forest at night, leaves personal item on tree

Post: Hi, I’m trying to find a movie I watched years ago (around 2005–2015, possibly American).

I only remember the opening scene:

A young woman (around 18–25) is running through a forest at night.

She is injured / possibly tortured and clearly in distress.

At first, you cannot see who is chasing her.

The camera alternates between her face and shots from behind.

She seems to deliberately leave a personal item (like a bracelet or necklace that someone who knows her would recognize) hanging on a tree branch as a clue.

The scene is very tense and dark.

After this opening, the story seems to shift to another character (possibly a male), and it becomes a thriller/mystery involving a killer.

I only saw the beginning, so I don’t know what happens later.

Does anyone recognize this movie?

[TOMT] kids movie or show with an episode about squirrels

I'm thinking of this kids movie or show from the early 2000 or late 90s. The movie would have been one that told multiple stories of it was a movie. The plot of this particular episode is that there are 2 squirrels and a bunch of other woodland critters preparing for winter. The one squirrel is busy sweeping and cleaning their home while the other is lazy and playing on the Autumn leaves. When winter suddenly hits, the unprepared squirrel is not doing so well and will not survive without food or heat. So they go the the prepared squirrels nest and the prepared squirrel let's them spend the rest of winter with them. Couple things, if it is a movie, it might be one where a parent is telling their kids multiple stories. Also, the prepared animal was definitely a squirrel but the unprepared animal might be something else. The animation style was similar to little Bear if that helps.

Can someone please help me to find this movie

I’m looking for a movie (or maybe a TV series episode) that I watched before 2015.
I don’t remember the plot, only two scenes.
Scene 1: There is a party or reception in a large house with adults (not teenagers). A man and a woman go upstairs and start kissing. Suddenly one of them begins behaving very strangely (I remember they might start spinning uncontrollably or moving in a very unnatural way). Then one of them falls through the floor or falls from the second floor inside the house. I’m not 100% sure whether it was the man or the woman who fell.
Scene 2: Later in the story, a man and a woman arrive by car at a house with a swimming pool. Before they arrive, I remember an aerial shot of the city with music playing. They get out of the car and go into the house, possibly to investigate something.
I watched it before 2015. It may not be an American movie. It could also be a TV series episode.

Looking for a late 90s / early 2000s occult thriller with adult scenes – only remember two scenes

One scene I remember quite clearly:

A quiet, ordinary-looking man around 40 years old brings a young woman into a large room in what looked like a modern apartment, loft, or expensive house.

The atmosphere is calm. They talk for a while. The young woman is sitting or reclining on a couch.

Then the supernatural woman approaches her and leans over her. The victim does not resist.

The woman appears to drain the victim's life force or energy. I remember her eyes glowing or lighting up during the process.

Afterward, the young woman goes completely limp and collapses back onto the couch, apparently dead. I think she may have disappeared afterward, but I'm not completely sure—I could be misremembering that part. She definitely did not shrivel up or rapidly age; she simply looked lifeless.

The man watches the entire thing calmly, as if he knows exactly what is happening.

The supernatural woman also had a henchman or assistant. He was a different character, a stern-looking man who seemed also to possess some kind of supernatural abilities. I remember the henchman was making love with a different woman (not the woman from the first scene). Then, in the next shot, I remember him casually throwing the body of that same woman over his shoulder and carrying her away.

LOOKING TO FIND WHAT THIS THRILLER MOVIE IS

I saw it about a couple weeks ago maybe on Hulu or max but it’s like there’s this lady (I think foreign) who works for this man and the lady basically writes articles. She’s interested in this one lady/family in particular so much so to the point where she goes and drives quite a ways to visit the ladies mom and see her upbringing and the town wears a bunch of pink and red. The lady that the article is being written about accidentally pushed a dying man down the steps? I believe it was her father? She came over to “make sure he was actually sick and dying” and didn’t purposely kill him. HELP…EDIT—SOLVED! The Stolen Girl

Please help me find this made for tv movie

Writing n phone so please excuse formatting.
In the 1990s working as a nurse on evening shift I would watch tv movies late at night. I have been trying to find this movie for so long. Unfortunately I remember the feeling of the movie more than the other details but here goes.
It was about a young boy. The actor who played him was blond. His parents were wrapped up in their own dysfunction and neglectful f him. He was always sad. One time they went out to dinner I think it was birthday. For the first time he was happy but his parents started to fight and they left just before the food came. Nothing went right for the young boy it was all pain and hurt for him. At the end of the movie he dies, I believe he is a hit by a car. Last scene is of him in afterlife a shot of him running and laughing and carefree. Can anybody please help me. Thank you.

Remember the convo in a movie scene

Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out what movie or TV show this convo is from. The girl is wearing a green tan top and she and the guy are kinda laying down on the ground or sunbathing or sumtng. they are both kids (I assume around 12-15) in this scene

Girl: can I tell you something? A couple of weeks ago i was really into you.

Guy: now when you say into me?

Girl: full on crush

Guy: and when? You said, you said a couple weeks ago?

Girl: yeah totally passed now. I'm with..paul now.

Guy: yeah yeah he seems nice.

Girl: but I mean you must have known? I was so obvious. I gave you so many signals.

Guy: yeah if you could just roll back the tape on all those signals.

Girl: You're so funny. You always make me laugh

Guy: funny in a... You want to ditch Paul for me kind of way?

Girl: when I like you, you won't like me, and when I like you, you probably won't like me.

Guy: okay now that we are living in a universe where this is remotely possible, let me make something clear to you. I will like you today, tomorrow, a week from now, 30 years from now when we're married. Just say the word, I will leave Alice.

I've only seen this clip on sites like Instagram or YouTube some years back. I would assume this is from 2000s or early 2010's but I can't be sure.

[TOMT] 2000s Movie that may or may not have had Adam Sandler where boy hits girl

I remember sometime in 2010-2018 I saw a scene from a movie where a boy asks a few adults what to do with a bully he is dealing with, and the adults say to defend themselves or something like that, and the adults say this because they think his bully is a boy, only for the camera to pan over and show that not only is the bully a girl, but that the misunderstood, and punched the girl, which causes a scene where everyone intervenes, and the adults suggest that the girl is bullying him because she likes him. I'm not entirely sure when this movie came out, but I remember it kinda looked like a 2000s movie if that makes sense.
