Looking for a 2000s or early 2010s road trip movie

Hi all!

Looking for a movie I’ve seen clips of on reels and TikTok.

A mother and her two young children, a boy and a girl, are traveling across the U.S.

There is a scene where the little girl is playing in a hotel pool and two boys are picking on her.

The mom sends her son to bully the boys back. Their mother tells her to stop. But she says he’s picking on them the exact way her sons were picking the woman’s daughter.

I think there is also a scene with the mom sending her kids to steal someone’s purse. And they do something to the hotel at the end of it.

Any ideas? Always meant to check it out, but I forget the movie name.

Looking for a movie like Journey to the Center of the Earth but not

Edit: Solved! Land of the Lost!

I saw it when I was a kid, all I remember was there were three people on the adventure. One of them wanted to be left behind in the world. When the two leads made it back to the surface, they found themselves at like a gas station or car wash and they embraced. The sole employee of the business asked about their boss (the one left behind) and assumes they killed him on their adventure.

I don't remember much from this sci-fi movie...

It's a sci-fi movie from the late 70s to early 80s, in color, and the vague bits I remember are:

It was probably set in outer space, someplace other than Earth. A man kept waking up in strange places and began to question his reality. On one of these occasions he woke up covered in some kind of webbing (or net) and seemed distraught as he removed it. Then as he proceeded to explore his surroundings someone or something (vaguely female) crossed the corridor behind where he couldn't see and was gone when he turned around.

On another occasion he was being given electroshock treatment of some kind. I remember someone putting something in his mouth to prevent him biting off his tongue, then someone turned a knob and an oscilloscope went crazy and the man convulsed violently.

Those are the only things I remember from the movie. Hopefully someone can help... Been trying to ID this movie for decades...

2000s Show/Movie about a couple in a camper van who kidnap 2 young siblings after losing their own

I saw this show/movie on British Terestrial televsion in the mid-late 2000s. The plot scentered around a family of 4 (Husband, wife, Daughter, Son) of which the 2 children are kidnapped by a different couple that are travelling around in a big campervan.

We come to learn that this couple lost their own kids in a drowning accident in a river, but from what I can remember it is later revealed via a flashback scene that the man was responsible for drowning his children in said river.

One prominent scene that sticks out is one where the brother/sister and their abductors are sat inside the campervan eating a meal. There is a cat under the table that the brother and sister keep feeding meat from their plates to which point the man loses his temper and proceeds to kill the cat in front of them.

I don't think that this film/show is Bon Voyage despite the glaring similarities in plot. Everthing I've searched about that movie and I can't find aany reference to the scene where the man drowns his own kids or the one where he kills the cat.

Slow (molasses territory) burn horror movie I'm not sure I want to remember

I recall seeing this around 15-20 years ago. I was sure it was called "Exit" but I've never been able to find it on google (there's quite a few movies with that title, so maybe that's a problem).

Anyways, this movie was sooooo slow for the first 90% or so, more or less just following around a young woman who was moving to another city at the end of the month. (For some reason, Seattle sticks in my head as the location.) There's the odd hint of a stalker, but nothing too overt (iirc).

The ending is what really got me, and why I'm not sure I want to remember/ see this movie again. There was indeed a stalker, and he sneaks into the garage during the woman's going away party and axe murders everyone but her. The movie ends with the woman and the stalker looking over the city from her balcony, with stalker guy giving a crazy stalker diatribe while the girl is just standing beside him with duct tape or plastic wrap covering her head.

Maybe for hardened horror buffs (which I'm not) it would be a bore-fest but, man, the murder scene seemed just so realistic it disturbed me to my core. No hint of the supernatural or any heroics from any of the guests. Just a bunch of normal people in a normal situation facing a guy with an axe. The ending stuck with me for years.

Need help in finding a movie

Hello Everyone, I have the vague synopsis of the plot twist. Please help me find the movie.

I think hero is a police. He tells a secret to his colleague X about how his father was killed by his cop buddy and the plot goes on and the buddy X gets killed by a high ranking corrupt police Y. Since X knows he's going to die in the hands of Y and Y wants some info on a case from X. X says hero father's cop killer name as an answer to Y's question because Y is also going to kill a cop (X). X hopes hero will connect the dots and when Y comes to hero and asks to find info on this name hero grows suspicious because he said this name only to X there's no chance Y would have know this name on his own. So Y has to have spoken to X before his death. So hero investigates and kills Y or get him under custody with proof.

Does anyone know anything about these two movies?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've been looking for two movies for years. The first one I remember had a scene in a castle where little creatures climbed onto a woman's legs and ended up on her breast to be nursed. The second was a kind of "police" movie where a cop's daughter was kidnapped by a yellow man (no, it's not Sin City). The girl is tied to a chair in a room. Thanks a lot!

TOMT][MOVIE] Cable TV Movie: Dad takes daughter home after school play, car crash, medium with bunker door, ghost kids in OWL masks. Dubbed Spanish. Saw ∼2003-2007*[2000s]

Hey, TOMT. This one is driving me insane. I saw it once as a kid in Latin America, dubbed in neutral Spanish, on a 24hr movie cable channel like Cinecanal/Golden/Space. My parents had just gotten cable, so it was probably 2003-2007. I watched it during the day and had to leave before it ended to go eat.

*What I remember 100%:*

  1. *Opening scene = Night*: An older daughter has a school theater/play presentation. Her parents are divorced. She BEGS her dad to take her home in his car because she barely sees him.

  2. *The crash*: They crash. She wasn't wearing a seatbelt and flies through the windshield. Dad finds her alive on the road, but she dies moments later. He blames himself completely.

  3. *The medium*: Dad, destroyed by guilt, goes to see an old lady medium. She lives in an old house with a *bunker/storm-cellar door in the backyard/patio*. Dad looks through that door and sees something horrifying.

  4. *The ghost kids*: There are children haunting the woods/around the house wearing *OWL masks*. White/cream masks, huge round black eyes, beak. Super creepy.

  5. *Other details*: It's not _The Dark_ (2005). The masks were definitely owls, not sheep. It was low-budget, made-for-TV quality. Dubbed in neutral Spanish.

*Why it's so hard to find*: It was a TV Movie, probably from Lifetime/Chiller/Syfy, filmed in Canada. Never released on DVD. The kind they aired 3 times at 2pm and then vanished.

Please tell me someone else saw _"The Owl, the Bunker and the Windshield"_ movie. I need to know I'm not crazy.

[TOMT][SHORT FILM][2000s-2010s] Weird short film where a musician makes a wish for a “killer hit” and people’s heads explode when hearing his music

I'm trying to find a weird short film/video that I saw years ago and it's driving me crazy. Another person actually messaged me on Facebook asking if I remembered it too, so I know (hopefully 😅) that I didn't invent this.

Here’s what I remember:

\* Live action (not animated)

\* Probably from the 2000s–2010s (maybe looked slightly older)

\* Felt like a weird fever dream / dark comedy / horror short film

\* A young male musician is alone in his apartment/living room, sitting on a couch

\* A genie / demon / magical being appears and talks to him (I remember a genie, but it could have been some kind of demon or strange figure)

\* The musician wishes for fame/success, something like: “I want a killer hit” or “I want a hit that kills” (maybe not exact wording)

\* The wish backfires literally

Very specific scene I remember:

A girl is sitting on the couch while he plays music for her (possibly acoustic guitar?) and her head suddenly explodes in a gore/comedic way.

Another detail:

I vaguely remember his music later being played on the radio. He realizes people are dying from hearing it and calls someone to warn them not to listen — but it's too late.

It felt more like a short film than a movie, possibly something from YouTube, Vimeo, a horror anthology, festival short, or something that circulated online/Facebook.

Does this ring a bell for ANYONE? 😭

Irish or Scottish Indie Film

I’ve been trying to find this movie for 20+ years now…it was set in either Ireland or Scotland, lots of shots of the landscape, lots of blue hues, depressing somber tone, main actress was dark haired with dark eyes and I think a teen or in her 20’s. I don’t remember any of the plot. I saw it on IFC some time 2000-2004.

Late 70s / early 80s short about God taking a vacation (Not Bruce Almighty)

I remember watching a short film on cable in the early 1980s about God taking a vacation and giving his power to a human to watch things while he was gone.

God is in heaven, he points his finger at the Earth to give his power to a priest standing at a crosswalk. The priest moves though and the power of God is given to an old man, who may have been homeless.

He is transformed into a young man who fights evil and falls in love with a young woman. At the end he is going to go after the woman but God takes the power back and the hero falls down and turns into an old man again.

God then takes pity on the old man, the old man is covered in ribbons and then emerges as a young man who roller skates away.

Probably made in the 1970s, I remember watching this circa 1983 on HBO or Nickelodeon. Probably HBO.

Any ideas?

Policewoman revenge thriller with disappearing knives motive

Trying to find an old revenge crime thriller I watched on TV long ago.

Policewoman gets gang raped by her male colleagues, they cover it up, then she starts killing them one by one.

Cold snowy city atmosphere, serious crime tone.

Most specific detail:

before each killing, the movie shows a knife rack/set with one knife missing each time she kills.

Anyone know this film?

Lightbulb IED

So I have this memory of a movie I watched when I was a child. Only scene that I remember from it was a guy cuts open a lightbulb fills it with some sort of liquid (I assume gasoline) and nails and uses electrical tape to tape it back together, then screws it back in the socket. Someone walks in an flips the switch and, I believe a small shed exploded..

I did a Google search of it and the top results were Blown away with Tommy Lee Jones and the 1974 Longest yard. So I watched them.

Blown away wasn't it, and Longest Yard the guy injected a lightbulb with a liquid. I also found a now archived Reddit post with a similar description but that lists the same two movies. Plus another called the Amateur, which I haven't watched yet.

Not sure why I really want to find this scene but if anyone on here can help or possibly point me in the right direction I would be grateful!

Fench erotic movie name

I’m trying to find the name of a movie.

It’s an erotic comedy, and I believe it was in French, from the late 1990s.

The story is about a white married couple (likely French). The wife (probably short hair cut) has an affair with a man who is not part of the family (possibly someone renting a room or staying with them).

Their Black housemaid she accidentally witnesses the wife being intimate with this man through a slightly open door.

Later in the movie, the husband becomes suspicious and follows them to a hotel. He rents a room next to theirs and listens through the wall, realizing his wife is with the same man.

At the end of the film, the husband is seen walking together with the housemaid in a sorrowfully.
