[MOVIE][2000s] Stoner/surfer dude tells friend with brain freeze something like “meltage, ride it out”

Honestly, title is pretty much all I can remember. I think I watched it between 2000-2010 and it's probably a comedy but I can't even be sure about that.

Ruled Out:
- Encino Man
- Dumb and Dumberer
- Biodome
- Grind
- Harold and Kumar

Movie/serial I saw when I was a kid

Hello
I'm trying to find a movie or possibly a standalone episode of an anthology TV series (something like The Outer Limits or The X-Files) that I watched a long time ago, probably on TV between the 90s and mid-2000s.

What I remember:

  • A small group (maybe 3–6 people) of soldiers or mercenaries — I lean toward mercenaries rather than regular military.
  • They were on some other mission and stumbled onto the creature unexpectedly — it wasn't what they were sent there for.
  • There was a woman in the group (not sure if she was a fighter/soldier herself, or possibly a captive/civilian).
  • Setting: arid desert/steppe, NOT jungle, NOT snow, NOT space. Definitely on Earth.
  • There was a small building — like a barn, shed, or farmhouse — not a large base.
  • The creature could turn fully invisible at will (not a suit/tech — seemed like a natural/biological ability), similar to the shimmer/heat-distortion effect from Predator.
  • The soldiers used a thermal imaging device/goggles to try to detect and fight it — this was a key plot element, they specifically relied on thermal vision to see it since normal vision/weapons couldn't.
  • The film was in color, tone was action/thriller, not comedy.
  • The creature(s) were eventually killed/destroyed — I believe there was an explosion at the end.
  • Definitely NOT: Predator (any installment), The Thing (1982 or 2011 prequel), The Faculty, Species, AVP, any X-Files or Stargate SG-1 or Sliders episode I've been able to identify so far.

I originally thought the creature might be insect-like (grasshopper/mantis-like), but I'm no longer sure about that — I might be misremembering or conflating it with something else. The core memory I'm confident about is: mercenaries/soldiers + desert + invisible creature + thermal goggles as the way to detect it + explosion ending.

Any ideas? Could be a low-budget/TV movie, a Sci-Fi Channel (Syfy) original, or a foreign production too.

Looking for an old fantasy? film

Hello everyone, I have been searching for a film for more than 10 years now could you help me find it? I don't remember the exact plot of the film but it had elements of dark fantasy. I remember there was a dark haired girl and she doesn't know she has power which she discovers later when she sees a sort of spiral sign. Someone then puts her inside a coffin looking thing in the woods and she's then able to get out. The antagonist is a witch I believe and she has bat tattoos on her collarbone and when she stands overlooking the scenery a bunch of bats fly out of her tattoo. There's also a witch in a cave when a younger girl enters from what I remember. I don't know what language it was in but i watched it in Central Asia. Any suggestions for what this might be?

(Nsfw but not porn) Movie about two guys trying to find partners

I apologize but I can only remember two scenes from the movie. The first one, rather vague, is I remember one of the main characters narrating, about how if you can't understand how someone could hurt someone that they love it just means that you haven't met the right person right yet

And there's another scene where one of the guys is in bed with one of the women that he ends up dating, and he's trying to convince her to do anal and she's really nervous. At one point he ask her something like " well have you seen the size of my dick. And have you ever taken a shit that big?" And that's how he convinces her. It is not a porno.

Other than that what I remember about the plot is it's mostly about two guys that are trying to find two women. I don't remember if it's them trying to find love or if they're looking for sugar mommas or anything like that I just remember the movie is centered around two guys and the later half of the movie is about them dating these two women that they fall head over heels for. In the end I think one of the guys ends up leaving the woman because even though he loves her they're just tearing each other apart.

Sorry for being really vague. It's probably been anywhere between 7-12 years since I've seen it, but I'm almost positive I would know it if I saw a clip from it or heard his voice.

I swear there was a movie on Netflix with a girl that knitted a human suit for herself and it had a penis . I just remembered her in the woods or something. It’s definitely an indie film . And I think it was about her finding a partner……

EDIT : It’s called “Felt”

Trying to find movie scene that is driving me and my wife crazy!

So our son did this like fake cry today and he stuck his hands up in almost in like a T-rex arms fashion and did a quick yell. It reminded me and my wife of a movie scene where a woman does a very similar thing. Like the woman is standing and is looking at something and then out of no where does a quick snap reaction with her hands going in front of her with like this weird cry scream type motion. And she does it multiple times. I remember the person/people around her being shocked by her reaction. But have no clue what movie it is from. We have been google searching for like 2 hours straight now and are no closer to finding it. Please for the love of god let someone here know what scene this is from!!!

[TOMT][movie][1990s][hitman]

All I remember is a woman who starts sleeping with a hitman (possibly the guy who was sent to kill her). IIRC there's a scene in bed where's she holding his hands and comments on the irony of his hands being so gentle and loving when he could kill her now with his bare hands if he wanted to. I saw it on terrestrial tv UK in the 1990s (we didn't have channel 5).

Help me ID 5 movie stills, reverse image tools gave me contradicting answers

I'm identifying frames from a film-still project and 5 are stumping me. I already ran them through reverse image tools and got contradicting results, so I'm hoping human film buffs can settle them. My guesses are low-confidence, correct freely, even "definitely NOT that" helps. Images in order:

  1. Astronaut in a bulky white/grey spacesuit with a domed helmet, squeezing through a cramped, dark, pipe-filled spacecraft interior. Modern, detailed suit. (Guesses: Alien / Interstellar / First Man)
  2. Two men in tan trench coats and hats with black umbrellas by a white picket fence; behind them a waterfront with a cargo ship, blue clapboard houses, an early-80s station wagon. Overcast, looking upward. (Guess: The Goonies? not sure at all)
  3. Extreme close-up of a heavyset man with a thick dark mustache and stubble, glancing down, a chronograph watch on his raised wrist. Warm interior light. Feels like a 90s crime film. (Guesses: Goodfellas / The Usual Suspects)
  4. A headless suit of medieval plate armor standing upright on a misty green hillside, blood at the neck stump. Absurd/comedic tone. (Guesses: Monty Python and the Holy Grail / The 13th Warrior)
  5. Night exterior of an 80s McDonald's (lit sign, golden arches), people at outdoor tables, a dark fastback muscle car in front. Suburban-American. (Guesses: The Terminator / ?)

Any prop/costume/location detail that pins one down would be hugely appreciated!

help me find a movie

Hi everyone, I feel like I've searched the entire internet and still haven't found what I'm looking for, so as a last resort, I'm asking for your help.

I'm looking for a movie I watched a long time ago. The plot revolved around two elderly men / retirees from England (or somewhere in the UK) who lived next door to each other in an apartment building / tenement house. They shared a dream of finally moving to sunny Australia to spend the rest of their lives there, and they were saving money together for this trip.

Near the end of the film, one of them passes away (I think in his apartment), and the other one finds him and is completely devastated. Eventually, though, he decides to fulfill their shared dream and moves to Australia on his own.

I don't remember the cast and unfortunately don't recall any other details. I'm looking for this movie because I really feel the urge to watch it again, but I just can't remember the title and it's driving me crazy. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Any help with the title would be greatly appreciated!

Friends reunite, world ends I think?

There's a movie I watched a while ago. I want to say before 2020. It's a group of old friends who reunite either at one of their homes or it might've been rented. Its mostly established couples and I swear children are brought along, but I can't be so sure. I remember there's infidelity between a woman with a husband and another man from the group but I'm not sure if he's in a relationship as well and this becomes a conflict in the movie. I'm pretty sure there's a is that a "weiner shaped object" in your pants or are you just happy to see me joke in there when one couple arrives and gets greeted. And I'm pretty darn sure outside of this home they're staying in that's pretty far removed from society that the world ends and that's why they're stuck there together even though arguments are breaking out. But it's not a big plot of the movie. Okay, I think that's all I have.

Alien forced human evolution movie

There was a movie I saw on TV probably 10 to 15 years ago that I have been trying to identify ever since. I don’t remember what channel it was on, but it was definitely science fiction.
The premise involved people around the world beginning to hear a strange noise, or possibly some kind of music, that not everyone could hear. I vaguely remember that it may have been mostly, or possibly exclusively, younger people who could hear it.
The people who heard the sound gradually started changing physically. Eventually, it was revealed that the sound was actually some kind of broadcast from an extraterrestrial civilization. It was forcing the people who could hear it to evolve, changing their bodies so they would be able to survive what was about to happen to Earth.
I don’t remember exactly what caused the environmental change. It had something to do with the sun, the atmosphere, or possibly both. Whatever happened caused the daytime environment to become extremely dangerous because of radiation or intense sunlight, to the point that normal humans and most other life could no longer safely go outside during the day.
By the end of the movie, the people affected by the sound had transformed into scaly, alien looking humanoids who were essentially the next stage of human evolution, adapted to survive in this new world.
The part I remember most clearly is the ending. The main character’s daughter has completed the transformation and walks out the front door into this incredibly bright, almost completely white sunlight. Her parents can only watch her go because they have to remain inside and shelter from the conditions outside during the day.
Some of the details may be slightly wrong since I saw this so long ago, but I remember the basic premise and especially that final scene pretty vividly.
Does this sound familiar to anybody?

Vaguely remember a movie where a guy yells at his daughter and his friend is shocked and starts standing up for the girl

I saw it briefly on cable as a kid. The scene was pretty traumatic but i couldn't look away. I changed the channel but I never learned what movie it was.

Movie from 90s (I think) where kid is running from a rainbow of colours in a library or church?

I don’t remember much other than that, and wonder if it even exists or it’s my imagination.

Looking for a TV movie or film from the early 1970/80

Hi everyone,

I've been trying for years to identify a film — or possibly a TV movie — that I saw on television in France when I was a child, probably in the late 1970s or early 1980s. The film itself may have been made earlier, perhaps in the late 1960s or during the 1970s.

It had a very strange, surreal and mysterious atmosphere, somewhat reminiscent of The Prisoner (the 1967–68 TV series).

The main character was a man who seemed to be trapped in a strange place, possibly a large hotel or some kind of resort/complex. I remember the place giving me the feeling of an in-between world or purgatory, although I don't remember whether this was ever explicitly stated.

There were also other people there, possibly guests or people behaving like hotel guests. What particularly struck me was their strange behavior: some seemed dishonest, deceitful, hypocritical or deliberately acting in bad faith, almost as if normal rules of social behavior didn't quite apply in this place. My memory of this aspect is less precise, but I remember the main character being surrounded by people whose behavior felt morally questionable or unsettling.

I also seem to remember a tennis court.

The most distinctive memory I have is from the ending:

Someone shoots an arrow with a bow at a numbered target or wheel. I am not completely certain whether the target was actually spinning, but I strongly remember the arrow landing on or selecting a number.

Somehow, this number seems to determine that the man is allowed to leave or is "released."

Then I remember him emerging from a real concrete road tunnel in a city, possibly with cars using the tunnel. He walks along an ordinary pavement/sidewalk and passes normal people, as though he has suddenly returned to everyday life and society.

This final sequence — the arrow, the number, his release, and then emerging from a concrete tunnel into an ordinary city — is the part I remember most clearly.

It was not, as far as I remember, a conventional horror film. The atmosphere was more surreal, mysterious and unsettling, possibly British or European.

I know childhood memories can become distorted over the years, so some details may be slightly wrong.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks!

Strange movie I saw when I was a kid

Hello, I'm trying to find the name of a movie I watched when I was a kid. It was either an 80s or 90s film, and I can remember a detail and three scenes from it.

-The main character gets attacked by something and gets infected. This infection causes things he touches to disintegrate other living things.

-A stop motion spider jumps onto his frying pan and disintegrates.

-A man uses an outhouse and disintegrates.

-A bunch of people are standing around a sidewalk praying, and a scientist comes along and places a baby chick on the sidewalk and, you guessed it, it disintegrates.

Potentially Spanish or French late night movie aired in 2010s-20s

I randomly found this movie on youtube a couple months ago, I didn't get far but it was pretty eccentric the theme was bridging back creativity to tv(?)

It started off pretty colourful and there were a few dances, singing, they might have been dressed up as genitals and rambled sex?

The cast was small and there was one apparently iconic guy as the main speaker

It was meant to be 6 short stories I think, if I remember correctly the first one was about ducks or aliens, I remember them hopping or squatting (?) following each other in a line It seemed pretty fun and been trying to find it for ages

Just to expand btw, I was watching at lots of South American movies around then but am not certain and I also remember I found it on a channel I was watching a war movie or documentary on that subbed it if that helps at all And they kept shouting maybe imagination or something along those lines at the start

Trying to find a revenge movie

It was a movie where an old guy was hunting and killing the gang that he used to be in, during the movie he talks with his son and there's a twist in the movie near the end where we the audience learns that his son was dead the whole time and it flashes back to previous scenes to show what really happened and we learn that he wants to get back at the gang for killing the son, I remember that one of the scenes is him and his son eating burgers in a parking lot at night and one of the gang members he killed had given up his life of crime and began working as a butcher
