I have once again come here looking for recommendations. I just can't seem to find anything that interesting other than complete slop (I'm fine with partial). One thing to note: I don't do pirating (Yeah, tough cookie, wanted to check stuff like The tyrant of the defense game, Her summon and Player, but mhm...)

Hello, I'm soon going to university (IT) and I was thinking about buying a thinkpad for notes and programming. I was told that a T480 would be more than enough, but where do i search? I tried looking at second hand sites (Czech Republic) and well I'm having a hard time finding anything priced adequately... Any tips? or are the prices just beyond reason?
I'm looking mostly for a low budget laptop that I could slap linux distro on - learn how to use it, use the web, notes and, some coding. I'd prefer to keep the budget minimalistic like 3000CZK/$140? would that work?
