I have recently discovered that I am pregnant, and this news has prompted a range of emotions. Although we had previously agreed that we did not want to have more children at our age, I have occasionally reconsidered this decision. However, I have now found myself facing an unexpected pregnancy, which has filled me with fear and uncertainty. My partner has been urging me to make a decision regarding the pregnancy before Mother's Day, as he wants to share the news with his mother. Initially, I was inclined to terminate the pregnancy due to the numerous problems in our relationship that I have been trying to overlook. He claims that he is hurt by my decision not to have the baby and that he will never view me in the same way again. I have attempted to explain my reasoning to him, but he seems unwilling to listen.
