After alot of research and discussions, I finally bought my first car!

A naturally aspirated 1.5L VTEC 2001 Honda City. I wanted a simple mechanic car thats fun to drive. I also wanted to get my hands dirty and learn how cars work. Bought this beauty from a Pilot in Pune. He apparently has 5 cars and 7 bikes including the Merc W124 in the first picture. Drove it from Pune to Mumbai. Currently restoring it completely. Fitness is due in July 2026. Goal is to restore it for the next 10 years.

Please share your valuable advices on what all I should keep in mind while restoring this beauty.

Bought my first car from a Pilot Captain in Pune. It was one of the 5 cars in his collection which includes a W124 in great condition.

Very well kept. The car does have rust but I think I can reduce it's growth with time.

For ones who don't know, this is a 2001 Honda City 1.5L VTEC Type 2.

Currently restoring it from bumper to bumper in Mumbai. Going to have a great time getting my hands dirty repairing this beautiful piece of Japanese Machinery.

Please share some valuable suggestions and advices to keep in mind while I restore it.
