M27 am i balding on top or just a weird cow lick/ hair whorl?

i’ve had this cow lick for a while now and i’m hoping it’s not a sign of balding im just not sure. my front hairline is still great and has not started receding at all

I missed some work due to being hospitalized and direct deposit was shorter than expected. my whole check was taken due to taking a paycheck advance and was short by $400.
