If I’m required to with draw from first year engineering but do a science faculty deans waiver, where I had many personal and medical circumstances through the year, and a set plan where I’m already taking prerequisites for my proposed path and because I’m coming from engineering my credit load will be reduced, do you think I’ll be successful in attaining it, or what are my chances?
I’m a first year in Eng currently, worried I’ll end up required to withdraw from uni. I would like to switch to comp sci, and am currently taking all the courses I need to be able to go into cs. Do I still need to do the deans waiver? Also, according to sci academic advising, they can only switch me if my avg is 50+ which I do have, but im just worried that if I’m rtw then I’ll have to do a deans waiver which is not a guarantee. -year was really bad for me personally and medically so that what happened with Eng in the first place.
