Hello po! I'm a first year MT student and like every other first year, phlebotomy is a core practice for our laboratory activities. I'm quite knowledgeable of the do's and dont's when extracting blood, I even had many successful blood draws. However, the one thing I fail at is extracting blood using a 5cc syringe. I don't know why the plunger gets hard to pull when there's backflow. I am humbly asking for your advice, thank u!!
