If You Need a Chiang Mai Private Driver - Mr. Boon

If anyone needs a private driver/tour in Chiang Mai, I seriously recommend Mr. Boon.

Super friendly, patient, and family-friendly. We were traveling with a baby and a young child, and he never rushed us once. He allowed us to fully enjoy every stop at our own pace and was extremely understanding whenever we needed extra time for the kids.

What stood out most was how genuinely kind and helpful he was — even helping entertain our son while we handled baby stuff. That level of care is rare.

Clean comfortable van, always on time, easy communication, and overall just a really stress-free experience.

One of the best parts of our Chiang Mai trip honestly. Highly recommend.

Recent BKK Airport SIM Prices Board - Photos? Anyone take snap?

Anyone arrive at BKK airport recently and happen to take a photo of the AIS or True tourist SIM plan/pricing boards at the airport booths?

Trying to figure out what plan and budget I’ll need before we land. Looking specifically for the airport prices/plans only (AIS, True, dtac etc).

Would really appreciate if anyone has recent photos from the last few weeks. Thanks!snap

Hi everyone! We will be arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) around 7:00 AM on an international flight, then after immigration and collecting our bags we will be re-checking in for a domestic flight to Chiang Mai at 1:30 PM. ( Thai Airways )

We are traveling with an 11-month-old baby and wanted to ask specifically about the DOMESTIC terminal/departure area after we re-check our bags. Then head onwards

Are there any:

- 7-Eleven stores

- convenience stores

- or shops/cafes

that sell bottled Meiji milk or other bottled milk/yogurt for babies?

Could anyone clarify what is available:

- BEFORE domestic security check

and

- AFTER domestic security check near the gates/waiting area?

Trying to plan baby food/milk for the layover. Thank you so much!

Hey everyone,

Planning to do the Pha Dok Sieo Nature Trail and wanted some real-world advice.

We’re a semi-fit family (walk ~5–7 km daily), and we’ll have our 11-month-old in a good quality carrier (Ergo-level support).

Worth it with a baby, or better to skip and Just do Wachirathan Waterfall , Doi Inthanon Summit and King & Queen Pagoda

.

Questions:

Difficulty level:

How tough is the trail overall? I’ve read it’s about 2–3 hours with a guide. Is it manageable with a baby on your chest/back, or are there sections that are risky/slippery/steep?

Terrain:

Are there lots of stairs, uneven rocks, or narrow paths near edges? Anything that would make balance tricky with a baby?

Heat & shade (mid-May): we live

In a country where its

Reached 45c daily so mid 30s low

40s is absolutely fine for us LOL but its Dry heat like opening oven door ,

We’re going in mid-May, likely afternoon.

Is the trail mostly shaded by trees, or are there long exposed sections?

How hot/humid does it feel inside the forest?

Mosquitoes / bugs:

Are mosquitoes bad along this trail?

Should we go heavy on repellent or is it manageable?

Safety with baby:

Any parts where you’d say “don’t attempt with an infant”?

Water crossings, slippery waterfalls, etc.?

Anything else we should know:

Start early instead?

Bring extra water/snacks?

Worth it with a baby, or better to skip and Just do Wachirathan Waterfall , Doi Inthanon Summit and King & Queen Pagoda

Would really appreciate honest opinions—especially from anyone who’s done it with kids or babies.

Thanks 🙏
