I do not want to be reminded of certain streamers when I go into one of the games I like to watch. So I was hoping there was a way to prevent seeing them.
TL;DR I've had to manage clinical depression for over 30 years and I'm now a couple of years into my current therapist. Recently I tried to break things down to try and figure out what is going on because I wasn't really having depressive episodes anymore, but here's how I can best describe it.
A lot of the time mental health experts will ask how your depression is on a scale from 1-10. I hate that question, because I don't view that on a vertical scale, but more on a horizontal scale. For me, a lot of the time it's not so much a negative or depressive feeling, but a lack of emotion at all. The best way I can describe it is if you took the contrast setting on your monitor and set it to 0. The vibrancy and depth from life is gone. It's not a literal lack of color in my life, but a figurative one.
