Help my sweet girl PLEASE READ
I noticed that my 2.5 year old female cat has been very reclusive and not eating or using the litter box as much, after some investigating I found a golf ball sized lump on the right side in her belly after being hissed at for the first ever since having her the whole 2.5 years trying to get her out of her hiding spot. I realized I haven't actually seen her eat or drink water in a few days and she had not been playing with toys or having her usual bouts of zoomies every 15 minutes so I set her up in my room with a camera some toys some things that smelled like me some wet and dry food her water fountain and the lower of the two litter boxes she has. I saw in one of the notifications on the camera that she was scouting the bed out like she wants to when she's gonna jump but she wouldn't actually jump, she finally used an ottoman I have at the foot of my bed to get on the bed but had to pull herself up with her front paws to get there. She failed to jump on the couch four times before making it, she did actually fail to jump on my bed this morning twice and I had to pick her up to put her with me. I took her to the vet and they said it's likely cancerous with the placement after they found a second larger mass spanning across her lower belly. I'm heartbroken and so lost, funds are tight but I'll do anything for her. What do I do? How do I help her? I have an appointment scheduled for two weeks away when I get paid but I don't want her to be in pain and uncomfortable at all during this. I've looked into herbal meds and treats and I got her wet kitten and senior food today to try to get her some nutrients but she's completely uninterested in food or water. She's still responsive to me and comes up to me for affection she was laying with me last night making biscuits switching spots around the bed all night like she usually does but she wasn't laying how she usually does I could tell she wanted to loaf on my chest but couldn't get her back legs comfortable. I don't know what to do for my sweet lady. She's the best gift I've ever received, I rescued her from someone who had no business having any of the 40+ animals they did in a one bedroom apartment almost three years ago now with her sister, she's the light of my life and my reason for everything I will do absolutely anything for her and look into anything anyone suggests I'm really just curious if anyone has any ways I can help her out in the mean time any food recommendations or vitamins I should try anything at all
