Halo effect air bubble when putting screen protector on my iphone 17

I’ve just bought a screen protector that came in a set of 4, put it on perfectly, and ended up with a horrendous halo air bubble all around the 4 edges. I tried a second one, as I blamed it on my application and the screen protector itself, same exact issue. Tried to get rid of it with a card and a cloth but nothing worked. I googled it to see if anyone has had any issues and found out that apparently it is VERY common with the 17s. The insanely weird thing is that I already had a screen protector on it and it did not have this issue, but I will not blame the ones I bought because I’ve seen multiple posts and comments on this sub.

I saw a few people recommend putting some olive oil around the edges to get it to stick to the phone but I don’t feel comfortable doing that on my iPhone.

Apple please get your shit together because this is insane, I can’t even just buy a screen protector and put it on now?? and respectfully I’m not going to raw dog a €1000 phone, falls are inevitable and I’m terrified of cracking the screen.

How can I get better legibility with gradient filters?

Hey guys, the title kind of speaks for itself lol but i’ve been going insane over this. I’m aware that putting filters on top decreases the contrast of the digits, but I’ve been putting solid colour filters on top (bought from Aliexpress as A4 colour sheets) and they look great, legibility is perfect from all angles in every lighting (pictures for reference). However, when it came to gradient filters, it was the total opposite. I had bought one from this listing and honestly was super disappointed. While yes it looked great in sunlight, the whole purpose of having a watch you can just glance at and know the time was no longer possible because the legibility was terrible especially indoors. I know about hydromodding but not enough to be comfortable to do that to the watches and sell them, because what happens when you need to change the battery then? (i know, 7-10 year battery life, but still wouldn’t want to sell an oil filled watch to someone). I just need to understand why there isn’t the same effect with gradient filters as there is with solid filters. I think I will try buying filters from Ogglogg, i saw great reviews (although the reviews for the aliexpress gradient filters were also great, so idk what happened) and they’re very affordable as well. If anyone has figured it out please let me know, my brain is broken over this 😭

Matsec result portal down

What a genuine joke of a system man. My younger sister is trying to access her O-Level results, obviously something had to go wrong. I’m assuming due to literally everyone in Malta trying to access this portal at the same time, it just crashed. Then you wonder why Maltese people are always complaining… bro we always have valid reasons 😭

Misaligned dial on MTP-B190D-1BV

Yesterday my boyfriend bought the MTP-B190D-1BV, once we got home and started admiring it he realized that the dial is misaligned, and once you see it, you can’t really unsee it. We took it back to the shop and they said they’ll bring in another 2 in a week to compare the dials in general to make sure it’s not an issue with the model itself and then to replace the one he got.

I looked at some pictures of different people who own the same watch and I did find another guy who had the black one and it was also very slightly misaligned. At first we thought it was the angle but when you look at it from up top, it really does show.

I was wondering if anyone has had the issue before? My bf reeeeally loves the classiness of this watch and it’s his birthday present to himself, he really did not expect this from Casio. Now he’s scared of getting the same one just in case he hits it and it moves or something
