Hey everyone!

I'm a first-time iPhone user, currently using an iPhone 17, and I'm finding one thing particularly frustrating.

I download a lot of files from the internet, and whenever I start downloading something, it seems to stop or pause when I switch to another app. I have to stay on the same screen and keep the download page open until the download finishes, which is really inconvenient.

On Android, I could start a download, switch to other apps, lock my phone, and let the download continue in the background.

Is there any way to achieve the same thing on iPhone? Are there any settings I need to change, alternative browsers, or download manager apps that support reliable background downloads?

I'd appreciate any tips or workarounds from experienced iPhone users. Thanks!

Hey guys, wanted to know what you guys think is the best case for the iPhone 17? I’m looking to get one, and ideally I’d like something thin that looks good on the white iPhone 17 and has a nice texture, not the slippery sticky TPU that you get in most clear cases. Thanks!

Just purchased the iPhone 17 sage and I'm confused with the mixed reviews available online for every phone case I check.

it'll be a great help if i get some vouching suggestions for any case that's sold on Amazon.

my requirements:

- transparent/translucent magsafe

- Protection is the top priority (drop and scratch protection); the screen, the panel and the camera

- anti yellow is optional (should at least not turn yellow in a month or so)

- budget is 1000-1500 INR.

Hello, this is my first iphone, before this i've been using androids and now I need to transfer years of images and videos from my old android to my new phone.

I tried the move to ios app with some degree of success, only it only transferred 70 photos out of 15000+ images and videos. I also want to RETAIN the photo's data like its date of capture, not the date in which it was transferred to my phone which the 70 photos that DID make it presented.

please any help would work </3

Hey everyone,

I recently bought an iPhone 17 and noticed a weird UI glitch while toggling Always On Display in Settings → Display & Brightness.

The toggle appears to jump around or become displaced briefly. I'm not sure whether this is an iOS animation bug or a device issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? Should I try any troubleshooting steps, or contact Apple Support while the phone is still new?

I have an iPhone 17 and last week, I switched back to Classic Siri because Siri AI was so slow on my Apple Watch. Today, I wanted to turn on Siri AI again and the option is gone. I even restarted my iPhone but it’s still not there. The option is present on my iPad Pro so I was able to turn it back on that device again. What can I do?

To iPhone 17 owners here: How's the performance when doing Messenger video calls, can it do 30 mins to an hour? Does it heat up easily during Messenger video calls? How are the heat management? Battery live?

I'm currently at 160 cycles after 222 days still going strong at 100%

I got the IiPhone 17 back in May 2026. Anyway, I've set the phone to charge 80% since day 1.

120 cycles and still at 100% battery health.....But my usage has me charging twice to three times a day. I keep it capped at 80%, but I’m a little disappointed with Apple. For years, I heard iPhones were these black magic glass rectangles with all day battery life.

Anyways, just wondering for those iphone 17 regular peeps....does ever flipping matter??? I would like to use my phone all day and not charge like twice or more

Is this normal, my phone is getting warm while scrolling on Instagram for sometime or blinkit only on mobile data, WiFi it works perfectly. I know mobile data puts pressure on battery consumption. But is it ok the device is getting warm even using apps like Instagram e-commerce for such an expensive phone. Recently, I was on a trip in my car and I was using maps without the charging plugged in the device, so I had to shut down for sometime. I thought my battery will actually get damaged because of it.
