Just got my first 3D printer and printed for straight 100h
And it's an absolutely fantastic new world that I'm discovering every day.
I'm very happy with this CC2. It works pretty well, besides the beginner mistakes I often make.
I'm very surprised by the print quality given its very low price (I got mine for 220€ excluding tax).
I thought I'd print more multi-colour objects, but in fact the waste is just insane with only one head (it's a general issue, not just for the CC2). You might be better off sketching it and painting it instead, imo, depending on your goals.
Also, I love the "calibration & optimization" part of 3D printing. I'm from the web performance field, so testing all the finest settings to find the best combination is a real pleasure for me.
I'm so glad to have gotten a foothold in this universe!
