Airlie Beach vs Hamilton Island

Hello.

We are first time visitors from the US. We are in the preliminary stages of planning a visit for roughly September of next year. We anticipate flying into sydney and flying north after a few days. We don't know if it's better to stay in airlie beach or Hamilton island. We are open to other locations as well. We are also open to advice on flying to HTI vs PPP. We are adults and have no children accompanying us. We like good food, scenic views and time spent on or around the water. We've tried to do some research and we basically found thay Hamilton is more expensive and Airlie Beach is a party town full of backpackers. Is this true? We like variety, but we aren't the type to be out drinking all night either. We appreciate any tips or advice you can give.

Visiting from the US

Hello.

I'm trying to plan a trip to Australia for the September time frame. No exact dates set in stone. We intend to fly into SYD from the US. We'd like to see Sydney, the whitsunday Islands, and Uluru. With regards to the whitsunday islands, do you recommend staying on whitsunday or staying in airlie beach? Are their pros/cons to both? I've also read that the train system in Australia isn't the greatest, so I assume that flying from Sydney is the best mode of transportation? Does anyone have any reccomendations on flying to airlie beach vs PPP? We are trying to hit all our bucket list items( opera house, great barrier reef, uluru), but we'd also love some suggestions for other nice places to visit. Is there any absolute essentials that you think we need to pack for a September arrival? Do Australians charge for restroom usage like Europeans? Do Australians expect tips like Americans? We graciously welcome any advice. Thanks.

Edit: If anyone has flown from Australia to the US or other long distance destination, some input of airline class of service would be extremely helpful. Was premium economy alright for such a long journey or is it worth it to shell out the huge price difference for business class?

Why does Pennsylvania not allow wage garnishment for consumer debts?

I was just doing some research and it appears that PA basically prohibits private companies from garnishing wages to settle debts. Is this correct? How does anyone get a customer in PA to pay their debt?
