I’ve seen some people mention it before and I was very worried that the day would come that my ‘pedes would also figure out how to get up on the lid, but I was praying it wouldn’t happen. I only have a 10 gallon and there’s only 6 inches from the top of the tank to the top of the soil but I’m still so worried she will fall and hurt herself😭

There’s only 2 areas where it’s tall enough for them to get up but they are their favorite spots to hang out so i don’t want to have to move them :(

I had to move her myself back into the tank because she was just walking away from where the 2 high areas were and I didn’t know how long she had already been up there.

Something I have quickly discovered is that both of my Ivory’s have very interesting personalities 😭😭

One of my girl’s is a lot smaller than the other so I assume she must be younger. Pepper is very shy and mostly likes to hide and sleep in increasingly odd ways..I always find her doing some weird shit or just fully curled up sleeping in the middle of the entire tank.

While Skunk is always doing something. She’s always running around all over the tank and climbing stuff and burying herself only to pop back a few minutes later.

I know i’m most likely just being paranoid but i’m also in general a very anxious person and I can’t help it 😭 I put some springtails into my enclosure like 2 days ago and was kinda just surprised I guess the way that they look? Every picture i’ve seen of springtails, they don’t look like this and i’ve also seen a couple other little things that moved super fast over the leaves up top so i’m like ? Are there 2 different types …? or did I somehow accidentally bring something from outside? I really don’t know, I was just surprised by how long some of them are and they move exactly like millipedes do so I was scared that they might be baby millipedes 💀💀 I do NOT have space for a bunch of babies and I don’t know what my ‘pedes genders are because I haven’t been able to check. So if someone who knows wtf they’re talking about could just tell me that this is what Springtails are supposed to look that, that would be awesome 😅

I’m a first time millipede owner so i’m still learning as I go obviously 😭😭 I realized that the reason the humidity wasn’t staying any higher than like 62% was because I had my mesh lid completely uncovered and after doing some research, I settled on duck taping saran wrap over like 90% of the lid but now i’m worried they aren’t gonna get enough air 😭😭 I do have a grow light because i’m gonna add a couple pothos in the corner so that’s definitely keeping it a bit warmer too. The second I took the lid off to take pictures the humidity dropped like 5% so at least I know it’s working lol

I’ve been working for weeks to make sure I have anything I could need and I offically just ordered 2 Ivory Millipedes! I’m so excited and i’ve done so much research and am sure it is fine but I wanted an outside opinion on my terrarium.
I was thinking of maybe getting some more cork bark cause I feel like there aren’t enough hidey spots and i’m also going today to get a couple tiny pothos for the back corners but is there anything else i should add? It’s 10 gallon btw
