Uneven grass type distribution South East CT

Need help with grass type ID. I have bunches of amazingly dark green grass. Most of my lawn is decent. But these bunches are the best grass, darkest green, thick, fast growing healthy etc. looking for help identifying it and then thoughts on how to expand it through the yard.
