I changed the oil the other day and somehow the hole for the oil drain bolt got stripped out. I already tried putting a bigger bolt in and now I’m able to get it tightened but she still dripping. I’m still thinking something with the threads are off. How crazy would I be if I played dumb and took it to the dealer or independent shop(I don’t trust quick lube places) and got and oil change and hope they would rethread it the right way or is there something else worth trying. Ideas?

(I always done my own oil changes since I started driving so don’t really know how those places would handle a situation like that)
