Academic standing question
Ok, so I am just finishing my second year at the u of a in the faculty of science and I didn't meet the subject gpa for my major I took all three of the classes in winter and they were pretty hard I ended with a 1.76 and I needed a 2.3, my overall gpa is above a 2.0 and so now I can only assume they are probably going to transfer me to the general stream. I really don't know what to do now and it stressing me out, I worked extremely hard the past 2 years and have already registered in my 300 level classes, I dont want to be set back any more than I already have so Im feeling stuck. I do really like my major even if it is very challenging, is this something worth appealing? has anyone had a similar experience? the faculty is very slow in responding to any questions I have and I don't want to go ahead into the next year waste my time and potentially face some kind of required to withdraw. If anyone has some advice please let me know asap so I can ge it sorted, thanks.
